Expiring SSL certificates to impact your TM1 environment effective 24th November 2016
You may have received information from IBM advising that the default SSL certificates TM1 uses for all client and server communications will expire on 24th November, resulting in the TM1 clients and servers not being able to communicate.
There is no need to take any immediate action. IBM plans to release a fix pack to limit any impact on your environment before the expiration date of 24th November. We’re in communication with IBM and we’ll provide more information on the release date of this fix pack and will be providing detailed advice on how to implement it.
For your information, Yuri Kudryavtsev, a Cornerstone TM1 specialist, has released a blog post which details some manual options that are also available.
Cornerstone will be hosting a webinar on Thursday 13th October, where Yuri will provide an update on available solutions, followed by a Q&A. Click here to register.
