Principal Consultants – the ‘Partners’ in the Business

The Cornerstone approach is built around the Principal Consultant – the business owners, or ‘partners’ in the firm. These are individuals with many years of experience in their chosen field and an established reputation for excellence in client service and solution delivery. As a partner in the business, the Principal Consultant ‘owns’ their own profit and loss account, and is responsible for bringing in their own revenue and choosing which costs to incur.

Senior Consultants – ‘Associates’ or Partners-in-Waiting

Whilst Principal Consultants are the acknowledged experts in their field, and perform the initial analysis of the client’s requirements, the majority of our services are delivered by Senior Consultants, each of which has already reached a high degree of technical competence (for example, we require ‘Professional’ level certification for our Senior Consultants specialising in Cognos BI, TM1 or Planning implementations).

Application Consultant – Gaining a Solid Technical Grounding

None of the strategic advisory services that we offer would be possible without a rigorous technical background. Although we believe in a more collaborative and holistic consulting approach than many ‘IT’ consulting organisations, we also believe that this cannot be achieved without an in-depth understanding of the technical challenges and opportunities that our clients face. In this way we can offer a better all-round solution than the ‘glossy Powerpoint’ approach favoured by some larger management consulting organisations.
